The ISO 17034 standard entered into force in 2017. The compliance with the requirements of this standard is assessed by the Polish Center for Accreditation.

ISO 17034 ISO 17034 defines the requirements for the level of competence and the principles of coherent operation of manufacturers of reference materials (certified reference materials).
ISO 17034 contains the requirements according to which reference materials are to be produced (certified reference materials) and requirements for the quality assurance procedures used by the reference material manufacturer.
With ISO 17034 accreditation, you can produce all reference materials, including certified reference materials.
Note: The manufacturer’s accreditation always specifies what kind of reference material he produces under accreditation.
