How to get SCC certificate for organisation?
An organization should get certificate if wants to demonstrate it in front of the client. To obtain a certificate, you must: implement the requirements of checklists available at www.vca.nl or www.ssvv.nl. It should be noted that there are two types of preparation for certification. The organization is ready for certification when:
Case 1: an organization that will work in the future for a client requiring SCC/VCA certificate – staff do not need to have SCC/VCA certificates
Case 2: the organization performs work for the client requiring the SCC / VCA certificate – the staff working at the client’s must have SCC/VCA certificates
After the certification is completed, the organization obtains the SCC/VCA certificate in an accredited certification body.
Obtaining a certificate by the organization does not entitle it to issue SCC/VCA certificates to ist staff. Staff must join training courses and exams organized eg. by IQME.
How to get SCC/VCA certificate for staff?
The certificate should be obtained by a person who wants to do work in enterprises that require such a certificate. To obtain the certificate you must complete the training organized by the SCC/VCA accredited body and pass the exam.
There are two types of SCC certificate depending on the type of exam being taken:
- BES – for line workers
- SOS – for employees of technical supervision.
The certificate is valid for 10 years from the date of issue.
How to get passport for an employee?
The SCC / VCA passport is not equivalent to the SCC/VCA certificate. A passport is a book, kept according to a registered pattern, to which information about the course of the employee’s work and the qualifications obtained or lost by him is entered. The number of the SCC/VCA certificate obtained by the employee is entered in the passport. You can also have only a passport, without a certificate, but it is of little value then.
To earn the certificate (passport) SCC/VCA for personnel, should go to the training and examination to the accredited body.
One of them is, for example, Det Norske Veritas. IQME does not conduct such exams.
