Quality management system guide – How to implement ISO 9001: 2015?
The ISO 9001 standard does not require to number processes, documents or other elements of the system. This is a practice required by some auditors from certification bodies, especially those with German origin, because it is easier for them to assess and report.
In practice, the numbering of the documentation does not work, it even makes work more difficult.
Do not number your processes and procedures. Names are enough.
