What is ISO 19600?
ISO 19600:2014 is an international standard that provides guidelines to help organizations establish, implement, maintain, evaluate and improve the Compliance Management System (CMS). The processes required by the ISO 19600 standard are based on risk management (ISO 31000 standard) and adaptation of the system to the context of the organization and specific risks of non-compliance.
The ISO 19600 standard came into force at the end of 2014, but became more commonly used after the releasing of ISO 37001 standard.
It is worth emphasizing that the standard can be applied regardless of the industry and size of the organization: in small, medium and large organizations of the public, private and social sectors.
