Quality management system guide – How to implement ISO 9001: 2015?

See all parts of the guide!

Let me start with an anecdote.

In a certain country, in the middle of Europe, there is a custom that the representatives of the QMS are selected from among these who will not have time to hide in their offices when the “ISO” slogan appear! These are the Forced Volunteers 😀

Do you know which country it is about?

The Quality Manager is a person who will supervise the quality of services and production in your company, as well as the quality of operation of the entire company. In fact, in order to properly perform these tasks, it must have an impact on everything.

This person may also carry out other tasks, but:

  • One must be able to lead people and make decisions, sometimes difficult and responsible.
  • One must be task-oriented and dedicated to her job.
  • One cannot be a formalist or a pedantic.
  • The most important thing! One must have time to complete quality tasks.

Once you have selected the person for the role, and you have an agreement frome one, it’s time to make an appoint by an official document. Prepare na ordiance of the President or Owner (depending on the legal form). The example of such a document you can find below. Remember to change the scope of responsibility in the employment contract and add new duties.

Ready! You have the Quality Manager!
