What is the ISO/IEC 17065 standard?

Standard ISO/IEC 17065 Conformity assessment – Requirements for bodies certifying products, processes and services it includes requirements for competence, consistent operation and impartiality of bodies certifying products, processes and services. Certification bodies operating in accordance with ISO 17065 offered all types of product, process and service certification. Certification of products, processes and services is a third party conformity assessment activity.

What is ISO/IEC 17024?

ISO/IEC 17024 Conformity assessment – General requirements for persons certifying bodies concerns the rules and requirements for persons certifying bodies. It includes specific requirements including developing and maintaining a personnel certification program.

What is ISO/IEC 17021-1?

Standard ISO/IEC 17021-1 Conformity assessment – Requirements for bodies providing audit and certification of management systems – Part 1: Requirements it contains the principles and requirements for the competence, consistency and impartiality of bodies that conduct audits and certification of all types of management systems. Certification bodies operating in accordance with this part of ISO / IEC 17021 are not required to offer certification for all types of management systems.
